Oil prices are way up, and natural gas prices are way down(due to new sources). Remember to have the gas flues checked also and if converting from oil to gas it is CODE to have a certified chimney sweep "certify" it's use.

A local contractor saw Dana working down the street from his house for four days. Was pleased with what he saw & asked Dana if he could fix his fireplace. The damper is in place, it looks like a hood at the top of the firebox. The lintel is also in place. The lintel is the metal piece across the top of the firebox opening in front of the damper. For earlier progression photos click
